About Me

Hi, my name is Lindsey! I am a stay at home mom of three sweet boys and the wife of a Chiropractor!family

I have always had a love for cooking, even when I was little I loved baking and cooking

For the past couple of years, my husband and I have been making huge lifestyle changes towards a more health way of life. We use natural (children safe) cleaners (Thieves, Melaleuca, Vinegar, Baking Soda, etc.). We use essential oils and homeopathic for colds, bumps and bruises.

We love to eat local food! We are apart of a local CSA, where we enjoy the foods a local, Amish farmer, provides us weekly shares! We have been apart of this group since 2010 and love every second of it! We also enjoy going to another local farmer for FRESH free range meat!

I started this blog to share my experiences (recipes) good and bad through our major change. I am not scared to share my FLOPS with you… as this is a learning experience for me.

My family and I LOVE Eating Real Food! My boys thrive on Real Food. We are not 100% strict with our boys. We do allow them school treats but as soon as they have them bad attitudes, bad behavior and bad sleep all return. We just thrive on Real Food! You may say we eat Paleo or Primal but we like to say we eat Real Food!

I am so with you on this! I’ve watched Food, Inc too, and many other films like it. We are on our real food/local food journey, and have never looked back 🙂
